Environmental Teacher's International Covention (ETIC 2012) is an international conference for school teachers and educators active in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and or Environmental Education (EE) program. Builds on a strong tradition of sharing the latest in EE/ESD theory, policy and practice with the principle of togetherness, tolerance and participation.

Throughout the conference participants will discuss the implications for Education for Sustainable Consumption (ESC) and ESD of issues such as sustainable consumption, green economy, climate change and indigenous knowledge, as well as the latest strategies to enable young generation to see the planet as one interdependent environment. The program, which includes exhibitions, inquiry based field trip, group discussion and social activities such as cultural night and conference dinner, will provide an ideal opportunity to network with colleagues and strengthen school partnership.

ETIC 2012 organized by Pandu Pertiwi, Brawijaya University-Indonesia and other partners. Pandu Pertiwi is a network of teachers, educators and high school students active in EE/ESD. The network is an Indonesian chapter of Caretakers of the Environment International.

We invite you to join us on this journey of learning, sharing, networking and showcasing the best practices that the education has to offer.
